LIV Golf CEO Greg Norman has blasted Tiger Woods and claimed Talor Gooch is the best iron player of the past two decades.

The American tennis player expressed his support for the 32-year-old – who did not compete at the recent Masters.

During an appearance on the LIV Golf broadcast of their Miami tournament, Norman gave Gooch a very high compliment.

“Talor Gooch is the best iron player in the golf game in the last 20 years that I have personally seen,” he said. “I just love watching him. His iron play is very precise.

This caused controversy as shocked fans shared their answers in the comments section and one name kept popping up. “Tiger might like a word,” one person posted.

“Everyone knows Tiger is the best in history,” the fan said while another added: “Tiger Woods has heard of him.” One user joked: “He must have never seen Tiger play golf,” while another wrote: “Tiger: “Hold my beer.” Woods is considered by many to be the greatest golfer of all time. He has 15 majors to his name, the most recent of which was The Masters in 2019.
